The path you take when you apply to Murdoch will vary depending on who you are and what you want to study. Find out how to apply for an undergraduate, honours or postgraduate course at Murdoch, as well as research degrees and individual units.
Domestic students
You're considered a domestic student at Murdoch if you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, a New Zealand citizen or hold a permanent Australian humanitarian visa.
If you don’t currently meet our admission requirements, our enabling courses can help you to qualify for entry to Murdoch.
If you're currently in Year 12 and want to study OnTrack Flex or OnTrack Sprint in Semester 1 you'll need to apply through TISC.
For all other applicants of our enabling courses, including Year 12 graduates intending to study in Semester 2, you can apply directly to Murdoch online.
If you're currently in Year 12 and want to start your course in Semester 1, or are applying for Veterinary Science, you must apply through TISC. This includes applications for the Year 12 Early Offer program.
Applications for non-school leavers and Semester 2 admission can be made at any time directly to Murdoch online.
You can apply for honours at Murdoch using our online application system. All applicants (except those studying Engineering or Psychology honours) will also need to complete and attach an Honours Application Form.

If you're wanting to apply for postgraduate research, you'll need to prepare your application in accordance with our research application process.
If you're currently studying at another Australian tertiary institution and want to study individual units at Murdoch, you'll also need to submit a Cross-Enrolment Application Form with your application.
Otherwise, please complete and submit a Non-Award Application Form.
At Murdoch, you can apply to study overseas on Exchange as part of your degree.

International students
You're an international student if you hold or are applying for a Student, Diplomatic, Bridging, Temporary or Provisional Resident visa, or are a permanent resident of New Zealand.
If you don’t currently meet our English or academic admission requirements, we work with many pathway institutions across Australia to help you qualify for entry into Murdoch University.
