OnTrack Flex is a free course that can be completed full-time over one semester or part-time equivalent, and can be studied online or on campus, at our Perth, Mandurah or Rockingham campuses. OnTrack Flex will provide you with a supportive adult learning environment and can lead you into an undergraduate degree that matches your aspirations.
The course provides an adult learning environment in which you can:
- Develop effective study habits and learning strategies
- Access tuition to develop your academic skills to an undergraduate level
- Build a network of peer and academic support at Murdoch University.
As an OnTrack Flex student, you’ll complete 4 units containing assessment tasks such as essays, quizzes, oral presentations, learning portfolios, reports and an exam. Feedback is provided in response to each assessment task which you will use to guide and plan your future learning.
OnTrack Flex student, Zachary says of the course, "Before starting On-Track, I had always thought that university would be harsh. I was utterly wrong, and I realised that On-Track had developed my academic knowledge to the next level, which is a massive milestone for me."
Flexible and personalised format
You can choose between range of flexible delivery modes, such as full-or part-time study, delivered on-campus and online. You can also choose elective units that are linked to the study area you’re most interested in.

On-campus learning experience: There will be a 2-hour workshop each week, plus face-to-face/online lectures and independent online study.
