Moving overseas to study is a big step. At Murdoch, we’ve got the support and services in place to help your child feel happy, healthy and secure while they study.
Doctor appointments and medical treatment
Our students have access to a team of qualified and experienced doctors and nurses who are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. We have both male and female health practitioners with a variety of skills and experience to suit individual health needs.
Students can make doctor’s appointments on campus most days and a registered nurse is available for students and staff Monday to Friday through our walk-in triage clinic.
Chiropractic and psychology treatments
Our on-campus Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic (MUCC) is a state-of-the-art patient centred teaching clinic open to the Murdoch community and members of the public. Our friendly and highly skilled team offer high quality chiropractic care, with inter-professional referral or management as needed.
Murdoch Psychology Clinic provides a clinical service for students who are experiencing a range of problems including anxiety and depression.
Stay safe on and off campus
At Murdoch, we take safety seriously. Our campus security team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services include security patrols of the campus and escorting students around campus after hours if they would like support. In addition, our new app, MurdochSafe, available for iPhone and Android, gives your child fast access to important emergency and security services on and off campus.
