OnTrack Sprint is an intensive 4-week program for students who have recently completed Year 12 and aspire to complete a university degree, but do not qualify for direct entry into Murdoch University.
OnTrack Sprint is an intensive 4-week enabling course that qualifies you to apply directly for any undergraduate degree at Murdoch University requiring a Selection Rank of 70 or less. See what courses you could be eligible for.
Please note this course is not a guaranteed pathway into the Bachelor of Nursing.
The course provides an adult learning environment in which you can:
Develop effective study habits and learning strategies
Access tuition to develop your academic skills to an undergraduate level
Build a network of peer and academic support at Murdoch University.
OnTrack Sprint is open to Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, as well as people who have arrived in Australia under a humanitarian or a refugee visa. To be eligible for the Trimester 1, 2025 intake, you must have completed Year 12 in the past 18 months.

OnTrack Sprint provides an entry pathway into Murdoch University for domestic students who have completed year 12 studies in the previous 18 months, and who meet one of the following criteria A student who has achieved an ‘A’ or ‘B’ average in General Year 12 subjects, A student who has not undertaken a full suite of ATAR subjects, but may have performed well in 2 or 3 subjects, and is not applying via the Portfolio pathway due to -the course not being available via Portfolio, OR -because their subjects are not cognate to the desired course of study, A student who has demonstrated academic potential, but may have had a disrupted Year 12 and is recommended for the program by their School. A student who has unsuccessfully completed TLC Learning for Tomorrow or FlexiTrack High with approval from the Academic Chair. A near miss ATAR student who has generated an ATAR between 60-69.5. Through this intensive, four-week preparatory program students will learn to think critically and complete research at a University level. By participating in tutorials and completing assignments you will open your mind to new ways of thinking and develop skills as independent learners.

Instead of paying an overall course fee, you pay for the individual units you enrol in. The total course cost will vary depending on the units you choose.
Following your successful application, you’ll receive a Letter of Offer which will contain specific course and fee information.
If you are applying for an undergraduate course, you may be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place. Postgraduate programs are full fee paying, unless indicated otherwise in your Letter of Offer.
