Murdoch University is committed to ensuring that students with disability, or students who are carers for people with disability, can access specific services and facilities to enable equal participation in study.
You can access tailored support through our team of professional accessibility advisors. They support students to reach their full academic potential.
If you have a disability or ongoing medical condition, or you are caring for a person with disability, you may need support or assistance with your studies. Your tailored support may include help with coursework or exams.
There is also the NDIS pre-planning toolkit available if you are accessing the NDIS. It is designed to be used before starting your university studies.
If you are thinking about studying at Murdoch and would like to know more about how we can support you, contact us. Any conversation that you have with our accessibility advisors is confidential.
Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
Through our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP), we identify areas for improvement to existing Murdoch University policy, practice, monitoring and evaluation procedures. The plan includes consideration of requirements for a safe physical environment, grievance mechanisms, and obligations to current and prospective staff and students with disability or medical conditions.
