We are looking for highly motivated students with training background on crop genetics, genomics and biochemistry. Students with training background on AI, machine learning and modelling are also encouraged to apply.

Eligibility

Master’s degree, first class honour or equivalent in above areas. Candidates with relevant experience are preferred. 

How to Apply

Email an Expression of Interest (EOI) to Professor Chengdao Li -c.li@murdoch.edu.au or Richard Li richard.li@meta-matters.com.au , including:

  • A two-page statement
  • Current CV
  • Academic transcripts
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the supervisory team, which will then nominate a preferred candidate and notify the Graduate Research Office. Successful candidates must also apply for PhD admission to Murdoch University.

Payment Method

  • A three and half-year scholarship package totalling $55,000 per annum tax exempt (2025 rate) 
  • Tuition Fee Offset of up $38,880 per annum of up to 4 years
  • Single cover OSHC for the duration of enrolment
