WestPride Archives
WestPride Archives, formerly the Gay and Lesbian Archives of Western Australia, was formed in the mid-1990’s and incorporated in 1998. It’s aim is to collect and protect various materials produced by and for the LGBTQIA+ community in Western Australia. The collection consists of street press, newsletters, magazines, organisational documents, photographs, newspaper clippings, manuscripts (published and unpublished), posters, costumes, various other items and the Lespar Library of Women’s Liberation.

Gerry Glaskin Collection
Gerald (Gerry) Marcus Glaskin (1932-2000) was a West Australian writer of homosexual fiction, poetry and erotica. The collection consists of Gerry’s personal library. Also includes manuscripts (published and unpublished), correspondence, photographs and associated papers.

Bob Hetherington Collection
In 1987, Bob Hetherington, a member of the WA Parliament, introduced a private member's bill into the legislative council to legalise homosexuality, which was narrowly defeated. The collection consist of his personal and professional documents including letters, pamphlets and research materials relating to the laws surrounding homosexuality and sexual assault.

Abortion Law Reform Association (ALRA) (WA branch) Collection
The Abortion Law Reform Association (ALRA) (WA branch) was established in 1967 and ceased in 2008. The group was established to lobby for the repeal of abortion laws in Western Australia. The organisation changed its name in early 1989 from the Abortion Law Repeal Association Inc. to the Association for the Legal Right to Abortion. The collection consists of documentation covering the interests and activities of ALRA (WA branch) from its foundation in 1967 to 2008. It includes reports, correspondence, newsletters, scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, pamphlets, journals, memorabilia, video cassettes, audio cassettes and fabric banners.

Centre for Research for Women Collection
The Centre for Research for Women was established in 1993 as a joint initiative between Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University, Murdoch University and the University of Western Australia. The collection is comprised of minutes, agendas, correspondence, documentation and policies relating to this organisation.

Dot Goodrick Collection
Dorothy (Dot) Goodrick (1931-2014) was a women’s rights activist. She was a founding member of the Women’s Electoral Lobby (WEL) (Perth branch) and a member of the Abortion Law Reform Association (ALRA) (WA branch). The collection consists of correspondence and various papers relating to Dot’s political activism.

Incest Survivors Association Collection
The Incest Survivors Association Inc. (ISA), established in 1984, provided counselling for children, adolescent and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. The Association is now known as the Phoenix Support and Advocacy Service. The collection consists of documents, newspaper clippings and correspondence relating to this organisation.

Irene Greenwood Collection
Irene Adelaide Greenwood AO (1898-1992) was a feminist, peace activist, political activist, broadcaster and writer. In 1981, Irene was the first woman to be awarded an honorary doctorate by Murdoch University. She was an office holder of many organisations, including the Australian Federation of Women Voters (AFWV) and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) (WA branch). The collection consists of Irene’s personal library. Also correspondence, photographs, diaries, radio program transcripts, journal issues, published papers, unpublished manuscripts and ephemera.

Jean Teasdale Collection
Jean Teasdale (1928-2002) was one of the first full-time interviewers appointed to the J. S. Battye Library of West Australian History's Oral History Program in 1975. She was the inaugural convenor of the Oral History Association of Australia in July 1978. The collection consists of audiotaped oral histories (recorded 1978-1982) with transcriptions, recorded for the book "Facing the Bow: European women in colonial Malaya 1919-1945”. It also includes articles, diaries, newspaper cuttings, photographs, rough drafts of “Facing the Bow” and other related material.

Joan Williams Collection
Joan Williams AM (1916-2008) was a journalist and author, publishing novels, short stories and poetry under the pen name Justina Williams. Joan was a member of the Women’s Electoral Lobby (WEL) (WA branch), Women’s Liberation Western Australia, Australian Peace Committee (WA branch) and a prominent member of Communist Party (WA branch). The collection consists of journals, correspondence, newsletters and pamphlets. Also includes manuscripts (published and unpublished), personal and publisher’s correspondence relating to research for her publication “On strenuous wings: a half-century of selected writings from the works of Katherine Susannah”.

Megan Sassi Collection
Megan Sassi (1933-1991) was a
librarian at the State Library of Western Australia and was involved in a
variety of organisations relating to the advancement of women’s
interests. She was a long-term member of the Abortion Law Reform
Association (ALRA), serving as its president. The collection
consists of pamphlets, ephemera, government publications, newspaper
cuttings files and correspondence relating to the abortion debate,
women’s rights and equality.

Suffragette Collection
The collection consists of books and pamphlets written by suffragettes and their critics documenting the United Kingdom Women's Suffrage Campaign, covering the period from 1850 to 1930. The collection consists of monographs, journals, news cuttings, scrapbooks, correspondence, postcards and ephemera.

The Women’s Electoral Lobby (WEL) (Bunbury branch) was established in 1973 and ceased in 1977. The group was established as part of a national, independent, non-party political, feminist lobby group established to ensure the rights of Australian women were protected. The collection consists of minutes, correspondence, reports, newsletters, pamphlets and journals relating to this organisation.

Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) (WA branch) Collection
The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is an international body founded in 1915 by women to support the settling of international disputes by peaceful means and the extension of parliamentary suffrage to women. The WA branch was formed in 1933, later folding and reforming in the 1950’s. It appears to have ceased about 2008. The collection consists of minutes, correspondence, newsletters, conference papers, newspaper cuttings, press releases, reports and submissions relating to this organisation.
