The Library gratefully accepts gifts of materials that add value to our collection and enhance the teaching and research activities of the University.
Our Collection Management Librarians assess and evaluate donated material for inclusion in our collection in accordance with our policies and guidelines. We accept donations on the understanding that location, cataloguing, retention and preservation are at the discretion of the Library.
Substantial donations may be acknowledged by letter, email or bookplates with the donor’s name added to donated items. Donations of single and small parcels of books are normally received without written acknowledgement.
