The Library can provide:

- extended High Demand Collection loans
- conversion of books or book chapters to alternative formats
- one-on-one consultations with a Librarian
- assistance with copying and printing (standard copying and printing fees apply).

Visiting the Library
See Campus Maps and Parking to locate appropriate parking options including ACROD and Easy Access parking bays. Assistance animals are welcome in the Library in accordance with Murdoch By-Laws Part II Section 14 No.1.
The North Wing lift, located behind the Help Desk in the library foyer, accesses levels 2-4. The South Wing lift accesses all levels. Accessible toilets are located in South Wing Level 3 and Learning Common North Wing Level 2.

Study spaces
Access and Inclusion Resource Rooms
There are two Access and Inclusion Resource Rooms with assistive technologies and ergonomic equipment located at the Geoffrey Bolton Library. These rooms are wheelchair accessible and include a range of equipment and software available to registered students who require such technologies.
Access to these rooms is available via swipe access to approved students. Contact the Access and Inclusion Office for more information.

Access and Inclusion Study Rooms
You can book either of the Level 1 individual Access and Inclusion Study Rooms online. If you would like to book the study room on Level 2, please see Library staff at the front desk.
We also have an individual study room set up as a sensory space located on Level 2, North Wing (350.2.005A). It is ideal for silent, individual study in an environment with minimal distractions, adjustable lighting and with sensory items such as a beanbag and a selection of fidgets, as well as a desk, chair and power point.
Please note, this room is not wheelchair accessible and is not available outside of Library open hours and the key must be collected from Library staff. To use this sensory room, see Library staff.
Other Study Spaces
Along with the Access and Inclusion Rooms, the Geoffrey Bolton Library has general individual study rooms that are equipped with a desk, a chair and a power point. To book an individual study room, see Library Study Rooms in Resource Booker. Please note that these rooms may not be wheelchair accessible.
Additionally, you can use silent study zones which are best for individual, silent study. They can be found in the Geoffrey Bolton Library at the following locations:
- Level 1, South Wing
- Level 2, South Wing
- Level 2, Computer Lab 2.006
- Level 2, Computer Lab 2.010
- Level 2, South Wing, Room 2.005D
- Level 4, South Wing
Computer labs and learning common areas are also available for use.
Mandurah Campus Facilities and Services
The Mandurah Campus Library is located in Building 101. See Campus Maps and Parking to locate disability access and parking options. To prepare for a visit you can check opening hours and view photos of the Library.
Located close to the Library, the Mandurah campus has a Silent Zone computer lab with 14 computers (101.1.024) best suited to individual study, and a Buzz Zone computer lab with 21 computers (101.1.025) ideal for group work. Both computer labs are open 8 AM – 9:45 PM on weekdays. Alumni and community members can use the Public Access computer in the quiet computer lab. See Library Staff for assistance.
Campus Maps show the location of disability access and parking options. Your Easy Access permit must be displayed when parking in the Easy Access bays.
