Loadig multiple versions of documents will increase the costs of running our website and can impact performance.

If you need to replace an existing document with a new version (e.g. featuring updated or corrected information) please follow the procedure below. Do NOT upload a second, seperate version of the document unless you intend to unpublish and delete the original version.

How to replace a document:

  1. Ensure your replacement document is fully accessible;
  2. Find the document you wish to replace by logging into Sitefinity, navigating to Content > Documents & Files and searching or browsing for your document in the Default library;
  3. Select the document from the list;
  4. Click on the Document settings cog  displayed near the lower right corner of the image and select Replace file;
  5. Upload your replacement document following the standard process for uploading documents.
