The Dubai ceremony is held once a year in November. It will be held at the Knowledge Park Auditorium. On the day of your graduation event, a program and livestream link will be available below.

About the ceremony
Ceremony Fee
The ceremony fee is A$170 and includes the purchase of your regalia, admission and light refreshments for yourself and two guests.
Tickets
You and your guests will need to present your tickets to gain entry.
- Two guest tickets are included in your ceremony fee.
- Guest tickets are limited based on venue capacity.
- Your guest tickets and regalia can be collected from the Dubai campus prior to the ceremony. Dates and times are outlined below.
- Children over the age of two years will require a ticket.
- Your guest tickets are in addition to your ticket.
- Guest tickets are non-refundable
Venue
The graduation ceremony will take place at the Knowledge Park Auditorium. Make sure you leave early on the day so you arrive in plenty of time for registration.
Accessibility
Murdoch University is committed to providing universal access to our events. Please contact Completion and Graduations at least two weeks before the ceremony so suitable arrangements can be organised. Advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
What to wear
You must wear the complete Murdoch University academic regalia for the award you are receiving.
Pronunciation of your name
To ensure your name is pronounced correctly during the ceremony, advise Completion and Graduations of the correct pronunciation at least two weeks before.
Ceremony week
Collect your regalia and guest tickets
Your regalia and guest tickets should be collected before your ceremony. If a friend or family member will be collecting on your behalf, please ensure you provide them with written authorisation.
When: Tuesday 12 November to Friday 15 November, 10am to 6pm
Where: Murdoch Dubai Campus – Level 1, Block 18, Dubai Knowledge Park
Ceremony proceedings
Each graduation ceremony starts promptly and follows a set program. You need to arrive on time to register and take your seat so you don’t miss out.

Accepting your folder as you cross the stage
As you reach the stage your name will be checked before it is announced. Once announced, walk across the stage to the Chancellor to receive your folder.
Stop briefly to accept the folder from the Chancellor as the ceremony photographer takes a photo of the presentation. You will then continue across the stage where an usher will direct you back to the graduand seating area.
After the ceremony
It’s time to relax and celebrate with your family and friends. Enjoy complementary light refreshments and have your photos taken.
To make your day run more smoothly, arrange in advance where you will meet your guests after the ceremony. Waiting at the exits can cause congestion.
Photographs and video
Murdoch University Dubai will be onsite for the graduation ceremony. If you wish to be excluded from Murdoch University Dubai’s promotional materials, kindly contact us at dubai.marketing@murdoch.edu.au, and we will provide you with assistance in this regard.
