Working with industry to develop a world class curriculum

The School of Media and Communication is committed to involving industry at all levels of university study. Our extensive curriculum, backed and endorsed by robust connections to both industry and the community, offers numerous avenues for our students and alumni to combine their creative passions with rigorous academic exploration, turning dreams and ambitions into reality.

Our courses provide a collaborative space for students from across the creative arts and communication disciplines to work with real life clients, and industry professionals, solving real problems to develop a myriad of communication and creative media solutions.

MESH Consultancy

MESH aims to provide students with a real-world, immersive and engaging learning experience. Across the Communications and Creative Media degree, students will have the opportunity to act as a MESH consultant and deal with a diverse range of actual clients with real needs.

As a student, you could find yourself working collaboratively with a group of peers to develop unique communications or build a website for a local not-for-profit. Students could also take on a more independent and long-term project through a professional placement with a local agency.
