Empowering future female tech leaders
The School of IT's CodeCrush event is an exciting initiative designed to inspire and empower young female students. We are very excited to meet students from all backgrounds and parts of the State.
Scheduled for June 4-7, the event will host 30 female students from years 8-9 and their teachers, offering hands-on workshops with inspiring leaders in IT, social events and visits to sponsor headquarters to give them a real-world insight into careers in IT.
This event underscores Murdoch's commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the tech industry, highlighting Murdoch's dedication to supporting and nurturing the next generation of female IT professionals.
Facilitators will include Kate Kirwin (CEO, She Codes), Dan Haagman (CEO, Chaleit) and Vannessa van Beek (Women in Security Award Winner 2024).
Applications close 31 March 2025.
