Keeping safe
If you are studying or working at Boola Katitjin after hours, consider discussing your plans with a friend or a colleague. You can move your car to Carpark 8 located opposite the Southern Forecourt. Contact Murdoch Security Services if you would like to be escorted to your car, public transport or off-campus.
Security services
Boola Katitjin is monitored by CCTV, will be staffed with Security team members, and has Emergency Security Call Buttons located in the Northern Plaza and Southern Forecourt.
Campus Security is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Consider contacting them if you are working or studying afterhours, would like to be escorted off campus, or if you observe or experience unacceptable behaviour.

Emergencies
In a life-threatening medical emergency, call 000 (‘Triple Zero’) and then inform Campus Security. For all other emergencies, call Campus Security on 9360 7333.
Boola Katitjin is smoke free
Murdoch University is a smoke free zone, except in designated areas, as noted in our Smoke Free Policy.
Smoking is prohibited inside Boola Katitjin, in all enclosed areas of the building, in all external under cover areas including the Student Portal and the Level 1 Promenade, and within 5 meters of entrances to the building.
