Criminology
Criminology at Murdoch Law School allows you to learn about the science of crime and why people commit crime. You will study areas such as white-collar crime, cybercrime and human trafficking.
Our Criminology courses challenge common perceptions of crime and explore ways to reduce and prevent crime. You can gain hands-on experience through our work-integrated learning programs. Practical Legal Training
PLT is an essential step to being admitted by the Legal Practice Board of WA as a practising lawyer.

Scholarship opportunities
Our domestic and international students are awarded $2.5 million in scholarships every year, including postgraduate students. Scholarships are available for high-achieving students to those experiencing financial hardship.

The Murdoch Undergraduate Law degree is accredited with various jurisdictions including:
- The Legal Practice Board of Western Australia which is the main body responsible for the regulation of all legal practitioners in Western Australia.
- The Ministry of Law in Singapore which licenses all law practice entities and registers foreign-qualified legal practitioners into Singapore.
- The Malaysian Bar Council which is the professional body which regulates the profession of lawyers and works to protect the reputation of the legal profession in peninsular Malaysia.
- The Indian Bar Council which is the main statutory body that regulates the legal practice in India.
