Deputy Vice Chancellor Colleges
Grant is a highly experienced and innovative university leader who joined Murdoch in 2017. Prior to Murdoch, Grant worked for Curtin University for six years, serving as a Professor of Management and across several leadership roles within the Curtin Business School. With nearly three decades of experience working at regional and metropolitan universities, Grant has a well-informed appreciation of the many, and varied, issues facing Australian universities, and he brings extensive strategy, leadership and management experience and capability to the role of Deputy Vice Chancellor Colleges.

Prior to commencing as Executive Dean, Andrew served as Dean of Academic Operations (ABLSS), Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Deputy Dean of the School of Business and Governance, Dean of the Murdoch University International Study Centre Dubai, and Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching) in the School of Arts. As an historian of the politics, diplomacy and international relations of modern Europe, Andrew's research centres around the period between the two world wars and the linked themes of international disarmament and the rise and fall of the League of Nations.
